My Story
Cordel “Nova” Blair is an Indianapolis‑born storyteller with a detail‑driven approach to video production, data‑focused coordination, and community‑centered creative work. Nova holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts & Science from Indiana University Indianapolis, where they specialized in video production and gained hands‑on experience supporting campus initiatives through IU’s Division of Student Affairs.
Their production background includes event recaps, interviews, documentary‑style features, and short narrative pieces, supported by strong skills in editing, organization, and workflow management. Nova is comfortable managing the full production cycle, from early concept conversations and scheduling to filming, editing, and preparing content for a range of platforms and audiences.
Nova is motivated by stories that highlight people, impact, and community. They thrive in collaborative environments where clarity and structure support meaningful storytelling, whether they are capturing an interview, organizing footage, or shaping a narrative that helps viewers understand why a story matters. Their steady, people‑focused approach makes them well suited for work that connects donors, recipients, and the broader mission of an institution.
